I'm Grateful

Grateful: feeling or showing an appreciation of kindness; thankful.

With thanksgiving being two weeks away, I can't help but think of all the food I'm going to eat and spending time with my family. However, I've also been thinking about what I'm grateful for.  Each year my family goes around the table and we each say one thing we're thankful for. I've been thinking about the one thing I'm thankful for but I cannot limit it to just one, God has been too good to me!

On Sunday my pastor preached about being grateful. One thing he mentioned that stood out to me is that "God wants us to be extravagantly grateful. Anything less is unacceptable to Him". Extravagantly means more than what is usual or necessary. So that means I must constantly spend my time (more than I usually do) showing gratitude towards God because He is extravagantly good to me!
So I am extravagantly grateful for my life, my husband, my baby, my family, my friends, my church, God's constant provisions, you and so much more!

What are you grateful for?

  1. Yes great post! Being extravagantly grateful keeps our attitudes positive always. I'm grateful for my friends, family, church and for all the opportunities has given me. I'm also really grateful for my newest niece, Faith!
